Legal
Effective Date: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Bridge Badge LLC ("Bridge Badge," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our event badge and digital business card services, and our website at thebridgebadge.com.
Bridge Badge LLC is a Pennsylvania limited liability company with a principal place of business at 10565 Connor Court, Wexford, Pennsylvania 15090. We provide smart name badges and related networking services to organizations hosting conferences, meetings, and similar events ("Clients"), for use by individual event participants ("Attendees").
This Policy covers personal information we collect and process in connection with: (a) our badge and digital business card services provided at events on behalf of Clients, and (b) our website, thebridgebadge.com, which consists of static informational pages plus the individual digital business card pages described in Section 3. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of Clients, who are independently responsible for their own data collection (such as event registration).
The specific information we collect varies by event, depending on what the Client requests and how Attendee information is collected for that event.
How we obtain this information varies by event: sometimes Bridge Badge creates and administers the intake survey directly; sometimes the Client builds data collection into its own event registration and provides Attendee data to us; and sometimes we receive Attendee data through an API connection with a registration platform. Regardless of method, we consolidate Attendee information into a working spreadsheet that we use to program badges and generate digital business cards.
With other Attendees. The "connect" feature is designed to share information between Attendees. When an Attendee uses "connect me now" or "connect me after," the other Attendee involved receives that Attendee's digital business card information and any shared notes. Private notes are not shared with the other Attendee.
With Clients. If a Client collects Attendee information directly and provides it to us, that Client already independently holds that information. If we create the intake survey ourselves, the Client is typically added as a collaborator on that survey, giving the Client access to the same Attendee information we collect.
With service providers. We use third-party service providers to operate our business, including Google Workspace (for forms, spreadsheets, and email), GoDaddy and WordPress (for website hosting), Gravity Forms (for processing edit-link and connect-feature submissions on digital business card pages), and, for some events, Eventbrite or Luma (for event registration data). These providers process information on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or rent attendee personal information to third parties.
Digital business cards. We manually delete an event's digital business card pages, typically within a few days after the event concludes. Because this deletion is currently a manual process rather than an automated one, exact timing may vary.
Connect notes. Notes entered through the connect feature are deleted automatically once used: immediately after a "connect now" email is sent, or once included in a "connect after" report.
Badge programming records. We retain an internal "Badge Programs" record for each event, logging each badge's unique identifier together with the associated Attendee's name, company, title, and the time the badge was programmed. As of the effective date of this Policy, we retain these records indefinitely and do not have a defined deletion schedule for them.
Underlying event data. The working spreadsheet we compile for each event, which may include Attendee names, survey responses, and contact information, is retained in our Google Drive. As of the effective date of this Policy, we retain these spreadsheets indefinitely and do not have a defined deletion schedule for them.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information in our possession. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you attended an event using Bridge Badge and would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, you may contact us using the information in Section 11. Because much of our attendee data is deleted automatically shortly after an event as described in Section 6, some requests may already be moot by the time we receive them.
Our services are intended for use by professional attendees of business events and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above.
